Pursue your passion for caring with Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, North Carolina. The smallest of Duke Health’s four hospitals at 123 beds, it offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, women's services, and surgical specialties.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice. Work performed in accordance with physician orders. Duties include working with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.
Must have the knowledge for clinical decision-making, skills for team interactions, and certifications for the duties performed. Maintain annual skills and safety compliance, North Carolina license requirements, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical requirements include lifting, walking, climbing, and bending.
Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program or current enrollment, with registry eligibility. No prior experience required. Must hold North Carolina State Licensure or Provisional License, NBRC certification, and BLS certification.
