UPMC Presbyterian is seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Manager to lead a skilled team serving highly complex, critically ill patients. This role supports the new Kamin Tower project and drives clinical excellence across disciplines in a large academic medical center.

You will shape team culture, develop professionals, and ensure staffing, budgeting, and policy standards are aligned with state licensure and NBRC guidelines.

Formación

• ARC/CoARC approved respiratory program required.
• BS degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• RRT credential from NBRC required.
• PA license required for PA practice; MD license for Maryland locations.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage respiratory services across the Patient Care Division.
• Lead operations in units; ensure staffing and scheduling adequacy.
• Develop staff, conduct evaluations, and oversee compliance with standards.
• Participate in budget design and adherence strategies.
• Promote interdisciplinary partnerships and CQI/QA programs.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to respiratory staff.

Educación

BS degree in Respiratory Therapy

ARC/CoARC approved Respiratory program

RRT NBRC certification

BLS/CPR certification

PA license (Respiratory Care Practitioner)

MD/Maryland license as applicable
