Essentia Health is seeking a part-time Respiratory Care Support Technician at St. Marys Medical Center in Duluth, MN. The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, stocking Respiratory Care supplies, and assisting with oxygen rounds and equipment changes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize and stock medical supplies for Respiratory Care Services, Pulmonary Function Lab and Sleep Disorders Center.
• Perform daily oxygen rounds, changing oxygen equipment and delivering cylinders to patient areas.
• Audit and submit Respiratory Care billing daily.
• Handle lifting and moving of items up to 20 pounds; operate safely with oxygen tanks.
• Use cleaning products to sanitize equipment and work areas in accordance with safety procedures.

Is responsible for daily oxygen rounds, oxygen equipment changes and oxygen cylinder delivery to all patient care areas. Responsible for the daily audit and submission of Respiratory Care billing.This is a physically active position that requires regular lifting and moving of items weighing up to 20 pounds. Candidates must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and move oxygen tanks as part of their daily responsibilities.This position also involves the daily use of cleaning products to clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
