Job summary

Essentia Health is hiring a Patient Transporter - Sterile Processing at St Marys Medical Center in Duluth, MN. The role involves distributing Sterile Processing equipment, transporting patients and supplies, and safely performing patient lifts.

Candidates should be prepared to notify staff of safety needs and assist with related duties as required. The schedule includes Day/Eve shifts with start times around 5:00am and 9:00am, and shifts end at 2:30pm or 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Help distribute Sterile Processing equipment and supplies throughout the campus.
• Assist with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment.
• Be responsible for the safe performance of mechanically appropriate patient lifts.
• Communicate to staff any special needs encountered before, during, or after the lifting of a particular patient, especially those regarding potential safety issues.
• Performs related duties as required.
