Essentia Health is seeking staff for Patient Transport at St Marys Medical Center in Duluth, MN. You will assist with transporting patients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring safety during lifts, and communicating any patient needs to staff. Flexibility includes day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required or obtainable within 1 month from hire. This role is in the hospital patient transport team with union backing and standard shift

Qualifications

• No educational requirements.
• BCLS certification required or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform mechanically appropriate patient lifts.
• Communicate with staff any special needs before, during, or after lifting to address safety issues.
• Assist with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment.
