Job summary

Mindgruve is seeking an Associate Project Manager, Resourcing to optimize resource allocation for low to mid complexity, quick-turn projects. This internal role partners with account, project and creative leads to drive resourcing clarity and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

As the APM grows in our agency processes, you will gain hands-on experience with timeline development, estimating and budget tracking, while leading weekly resourcing meetings and developing freelance talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
• 1+ years of resource or project management experience in a digital or creative agency.
• Marketing, e-commerce and retail experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Advantage, Asana, Parallax or equivalent project and resource management tools.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong organization and communication.
• Superior multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle change effectively with a positive attitude.
• Reliable in managing progress and escalating team needs.
• Thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review project deliverables and assign resources based on project specific requirements.
• Monitor daily in-house bandwidth and resolve timing or capacity bottlenecks.
• Track daily task progress to ensure project milestones are met.
• Collaborate with the Director of Project Management to forecast and secure freelance talent.
• Keep documentation current, including Creative Resource tracker and Advantage training deck.
• Lead weekly resourcing meetings with account, project and creative team leads.
• Motivate team members to complete tasks on time and within budget.
• Assist project management leads in gaining hands-on experience with timeline development, estimating, and budget tracking.
