Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic Resources Business Group Data Steward to define, share, and reuse data across all Business Classes and Practices. This leadership role reports to the Resources Technology Director and collaborates with HDR Data Operations and the Technology Leadership Team.

The role focuses on simplifying data, enabling reuse, and driving better decisions through governance and standardization in our Digital Business Group. A strong data leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading diverse teams and delivering data-focused solutions.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or power/industrial sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise from our Business Classes and Practices.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key engineering terms with business context.
• Promote consistent use of data, including access control, quality, formatting, and reuse.
