Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic-minded Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how data is defined, shared, and reused across the business group. This leadership role drives data simplicity, usefulness, and connectivity in HDR’s enterprise analytics ecosystem.

The role reports to the Resources Business Group Technology Director with collaboration across HDR Data Operations and the Technology Leadership Team. A strong focus is on enabling reuse and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing and leading teams.
• Experience delivering data-focused solutions in large organizations.
• Ability to work with leaders, managers and technical teams to drive data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern data definitions, glossary terms, and business context.
• Lead a RBG SME network to align practices across business classes and practices.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of technical data and data governance.
• Collaborate with HDR Data Operations and leadership to enable analytics and AI.
• Support data governance and lifecycle considerations for external datasets.
• Drive data fluency across the organization and improve decision making.
• Communicate with other BG Data Stewards and enterprise data teams.
