Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University Libraries at University Park is seeking a Resource Sharing Specialist (Library Services Associate) to join the Resource Sharing and Interlibrary Loan department. Qualifications

• Experience in a library environment with library operations and patron services.
• Knowledge of resource sharing practices and interlibrary loan operations.
• Ability to search catalogs/databases and communicate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Process interlibrary loan borrowing requests using ILLiad and related systems.
• Identify lending partners and coordinate delivery timelines and costs.
• Provide customer service to patrons via phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain workflows and assist with training and onboarding within the team.
• Coordinate with circulation and billing staff on patron accounts.
