Job summary

Bucks IU is seeking a Manager of Interlibrary Delivery Services to lead the Interlibrary Delivery Service of Pennsylvania, guiding operations, vendor partnerships, and outreach to members.

You will collaborate with the IDS Board, supervise staff, and drive financial stewardship, reporting to the Board and external agencies. This is an on-site role in Doylestown, PA with opportunities to enhance services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with state libraries or academic libraries preferred.
• Citizenship or work authorization in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the IDS 501(c)3 and align with IDS Board directions.
• Coordinate and support the IDS Board and committees; act as liaison between Board and membership.
• Lead interactions with delivery service providers, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Direct recruitment, onboarding, and retention of members; ensure high-quality customer service.
• Oversee the IDS Administrative Assistant and bookkeeping; manage accounts receivable/payable.
