Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to float across Floyd facilities, including Floyd, Polk Medical, Behavioral Health, FSED -Trion & Cherokee Medical. This full-time position covers 36 hours per week with benefits eligibility.

The RN will apply evidence-based practices, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the care team while maintaining accurate EHR documentation. BLS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state(s) where practicing.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains timely and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed within the service area.
