Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Nurse to float to Wake facilities, delivering patient-centered care across zones with a focus on safety, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. The role supports the Resource Team with 36 hours per week, aligned with a comprehensive benefits package.

Candidates must have RN licensure, BLS, and the ability to work across multiple sites within the designated zones, maintaining high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
