Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to float across Floyd, Polk Medical, Behavioral Health, FSED-Trion, and Cherokee Medical within the Resource Team. The role is full-time with 36 hours per week and benefits eligible.

Requires RN licensure, BLS, and preferred BSN; telehealth experience is a plus. The RN will apply the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care across multiple sites, maintaining documentation and patient safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with RN licensure and BLS.
• Active RN license in relevant state(s); multi-state licensure preferred.
• Preferred BSN; telehealth/virtual nursing requires appropriate licensing.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patients, adjust plans, and collaborate with care team.
• Ensure safe medication administration per protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and patient data.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed within service area.
