TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee is seeking a Float Pool Nurse to provide versatile nursing care across units. The role emphasizes patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring within a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility to support various departments is essential. Qualified RNs must hold TN licensure, current BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and have 2+ years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification at hire date.
• ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient plans and evaluate care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications; change dressings; cleanse wounds; monitor vitals.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition using electronic documentation systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of the multidisciplinary care planning team.

Float Pool Nurse??

Registered Nurses provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs must use independent and reasonable judgment in providing a wide variety of services as per the scope of nursing practice.

What you will do in this role:?

• You will assess plans and evaluate the patients care needs and will carry out physician orders.?

• You will administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.?

• You will monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.?

• You will instruct and educate patients and families as part of part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team?

What qualifications you will need:??

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing?

• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing?

• Current BLS?

• ACLS within 6 months of hire?

• 2 years?of clinical nursing experience preferred?
