Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to support our teams across inpatient units. The RN will provide and coordinate care, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver physical and emotional support to patients and families.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year med/surg experience, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, and active Tennessee nursing licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire

Responsibilities

• You will be performing patient rounding in an effort to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.
• You will promote customer service initiatives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedto:assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.
