Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Float Medical-Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families through assessments, care plans, and education, maintaining equipment and ensuring clear communication of needs.

The role emphasizes rounding, patient satisfaction, and adherence to quality standards across the med/surg continuum.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and families.
• Assessments and reassessments, development of individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.
• Roundings to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.
• Demonstrate nursing process for patient care across ages served.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedto:assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be performing patient roundingin an effort tomaximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.

• You willdemonstrateknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.

• You will promote customer service initiatives.

• You are given the opportunity toutilizenursingprocess for individual care to meetneedsof patients.

• In thisroleyou willdemonstrateyour ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
