Job summary

Elliot Health System in New Hampshire is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Adult Step Down Unit on the night shift. The ADSU is a 12-bed unit with telemetry monitoring and a focus on safe patient care; the nurse-patient ratio is 1:3.

Requirements include BSN preferred, minimum 2 years nursing experience, NH/compact/multistate RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS preferred; professional certification should be pursued within three years.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Telemetry with dysrhythmia management is preferred.
• NH, compact, or multistate RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification during orientation; ACLS preferred.
• Professional certification should be pursued within three years in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the ADSU per unit guidelines and 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Promote evidence-based practice and nursing excellence.
• Support rapid assessment and intervention for acutely ill patients and rapidly changing situations.
