Orchestra seeks a strategic Director of Resource Management to build and lead a new enterprise function across the organization. This role partners with HR, Finance, Operations, and Vertical Leaders to create an integrated, data-driven approach to workforce planning, talent deployment, and capacity management.

Success requires experience building new capabilities in complex matrixed environments, plus the executive presence to align diverse stakeholders and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, operations, or talent deployment within professional services.
• Proven ability to scale resource management capabilities in complex, matrixed environments.
• Strong understanding of staffing models, utilization, forecasting, and profitability.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Resource Management function across the organization.
• Develop scalable processes, governance, and best practices to support agency growth.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement across teams and stakeholders.
• Forecast staffing needs and align talent supply with client demand and business priorities.
• Optimize full-time, freelance, and contract talent mix to balance flexibility and profitability.
• Identify capability gaps and provide hiring and redeployment recommendations.
• Serve as trusted advisor to agency leaders on workforce planning and capacity decisions.
• Establish governance and data standards for resource management systems, including Kantata.
