Job summary

BlackLine is seeking an operational leader to manage project staffing and consultant allocation within our Resource Management Center. You will lead a team of implementation consultants, optimize billable utilization, and ensure seamless delivery across client engagements.

Requirements include 5+ years in professional services operations or staffing, 3–5+ years in people management, and hands-on proficiency with Salesforce Certinia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional services operations, resource management, or project staffing
• 3–5+ years in a direct people management or team lead capacity preferred
• Hands on proficiency with Salesforce Certinia is required
• Understanding of enterprise SaaS delivery models familiarity with BlackLine products or accounting platform/finance workflows is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex scheduling conflicts and manage high volume, matrixed staffing demands
• Strong leadership presence, analytical problem solving skills, and ability to influence cross functional delivery partners

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of implementation consultants
• Direct the full allocation lifecycle from request intake to confirmed booking
• Own data integrity in Salesforce Certinia (PSA), overseeing project allocations, bench visibility, skills matrix, and capacity forecasts
• Act as the primary liaison for Portfolio Leaders, Implementation Managers and Engagement Managers
• Monitor, analyze, and present key operational metrics including consultant utilization and forecast variance
• Continuously refine resource request workflows, tooling, and governance
