Northwestern Medicine seeks a Resource Coordinator, Nurse, to support daily operations across practice site(s) under medical and administrative direction. This role supervises clinical and administrative staff, coordinates provider schedules, manages practice collections, and ensures service excellence with effective service recovery.

The position requires a RN license in Illinois, at least three years in medical settings, and strong leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in a medical or related business.
• Comprehension of insurance plans including HMO, PPO, POS, commercial, Medicare, Medicaid.
• Solid understanding of patient flow in a medical office.
• Leadership experience
• Working knowledge of medical software (Word, Excel)
• Experience managing daily cash activity and reconciling income reports with daily payments.
• Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse or eligible in the State of Illinois.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts orientation and training of new and existing staff.
• Schedules staff for adequate coverage and maintains attendance records.
• Prioritizes, assigns, and reviews work; provides feedback to manager.
• Provides clinical resources to staff.
• Contains costs while delivering high quality service.
• Ensures staffing levels meet department guidelines and minimizes overtime.
• Monitors supplies and equipment for cost containment.
• Supports quality assurance programs and enforces policies.
• Provides clinical expertise and support to ensure quality patient care.
• Assesses patients and communicates plans of care with clinical pathways.
