Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Resource Coordinator in Monroe, LA to secure food donations, manage donor relationships, and support purchasing and inventory activities. The role requires collaboration with community partners, retail donors, agencies, and internal teams to ensure a steady supply of food resources.

Preferred bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years in sales, donor relations, or related fields; strong MS Office skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in sales, food service, customer service, donor relations or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and database systems.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with food donors, manufacturers, growers, distributors, and retail partners.
• Identify and secure new food donation opportunities throughout the service region.
• Coordinate food purchasing activities and ensure accurate tracking of purchased inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations teams to meet product needs.
• Manage food acquisition through Feeding America's CHOICE system.
• Oversee Retail Rescue Program operations and monitor agency participation.
• Train agencies and retail partners on food donation and safety requirements.
• Track donor activity, food donations, and program metrics.
• Create donor recognition and appreciation initiatives.
• Prepare reports on donor engagement and food sourcing performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams on product distribution and inventory management.
