Job summary

Omni Family of Services Tennessee Inc is seeking a Resource Coordinator in Johnson City, TN to provide referral treatment planning for foster and adoptive children placed in family or group settings. You will work to maximize the social functioning, safety, wellbeing and permanency of each client while aligning with Omni’s mission and values.

You should bring a passion for helping others, a team mindset, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field (juvenile justice component if degree is in criminal justice).
• Volunteer, practicum, or internship in programs working with children and families is preferable.

Job description

As the Resource Coordinator you will provide referral treatment planning for foster and adoptive children placed in a family or group setting to maximize the social functioning, safety, wellbeing, and permanency of the client. You will work in alignment with Omni’s mission and core values and comply with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications for Tennessee applicants

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in social work or a related field. If the degree is in criminal justice, it must include a juvenile justice component.
• Volunteer, practicum, or internship experience in programs or facilities that work with children and families is preferable.
