Job summary

Omni Family of Services Tennessee Inc is seeking a Community Therapist to maintain a caseload of children in state custody (Level 3). The role focuses on successful placement by addressing client and family needs while providing individual and family therapy.

You will participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, develop annual clinical assessments, and provide crisis intervention consultations. A master's degree on a licensure track and at least one year of relevant experience are

Qualifications

  • Masters degree required; licensure track or license eligible.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with children with developmental or intellectual/physical disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and mental health interventions.
  • Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of children in state custody (Level 3).
  • Provide individual and family therapy.

As the Community Therapist you would maintain a caseload of children who are in state’s custody and classified as Level 3. Focus will be on successful placement by addressing the unique needs of the client/family. While providing individual and family therapy, the L3 Clinical Therapist participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing an annual comprehensive clinical/psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention consultation.

- Must be an individual with a master’s degree who is on a licensure track or license eligible. Licensure supervision provided.

- One year of pertinent experience is desired working with children with developmental and intellectual and/or physical disabilities; or any equivalent education and experience.

- Good understanding of trauma informed care, clinical diagnoses and interventions to address mental health conditions.

- Valid Driver’s License

- Proof of Automobile Insurance and Reliable Transportation
