Job summary

Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Georgia is seeking a friendly, professional restaurant server to provide exceptional guest service and accurate order handling. You will greet guests, take and relay orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while adhering to service standards.

Responsibilities include using the POS system, promoting menu items, and maintaining a clean, efficient dining area. A strong team orientation and reliable attendance are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Be willing to pitch in and help coworkers as part of a team.
• Have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Know appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to remember and promote menu variety.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 30 lbs throughout a shift.
• Operate beverage and toast equipment as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Operate a keyboard and learn POS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and explain specials or promotions.
• Record guest orders accurately and confirm details with the guest.
• Enter orders into the POS system for kitchen processing.
• Retrieve and deliver orders up to 30 lbs to guests with accuracy.
• Abide by all state, federal, and corporate alcohol-service requirements.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Present checks promptly and manage payment processing.
• Assist with other job duties as assigned.
