Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to safeguard guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and resort properties across aquatic and dry attractions, public areas, and hotel rooms.

You will implement safety procedures, operate security systems, and coordinate with local law enforcement while upholding our Lead with Love promise to create a welcoming and secure guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by Associates, Supervisors, Department Heads, Senior Management, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Always comply with Kalahari standards and regulations to encourage safe hotel operations
• Assist, as needed, with administering emergency procedures and protocol
• Operate the security computer systems, cameras, and other office equipment
• Work with and assist local law enforcement and safety personnel
• Provide the utmost in confidentiality with every action take, verbally and written to protect the rights of guests, associates and Kalahari Resorts

Security Officer- Overnight

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aSecurity Officer for Overnight.In this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and other people in all aquatic and dry attractions, public area, convention center, resort rooms, studenthousing, parking lots and other resort property while on duty.
