Job summary

Topnotch Resort in Vermont seeks an experienced restaurant operations leader to assist in directing daily restaurant activities, supervise staff, and maintain high standards of service and food quality.

You will monitor inventory, collaborate on menu ideas, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance. A salary of $60,000 per year is offered with comprehensive benefits. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.
One to three years experience as a manager or assistant manager of restaurant operations.
CPR certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.

Responsibilities

Assist Manager in directing and supervising staff, schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety.
Ensure sanitation and safety standards; verify equipment works; coordinate repairs.
Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction; ensure food quality and presentation.
Document inventory forecasts and monitor supply to keep restaurant stocked with linen, glassware, etc.
Participate in marketing efforts, menu ideas, survey competition and report trends; assist in specials.
