Job summary

Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire, MI, seeks a Public Space Attendant for the Afternoon Shift to keep lobbies, hallways and restrooms clean, safe, and welcoming during busy afternoons and evenings.

You will respond to spills, stock supplies, coordinate with Housekeeping, and assist guests with directions. Availability on weekends and holidays preferred; prior hospitality or cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, entrances, stairwells).
• Monitor high-traffic areas and provide cleaning support as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks: trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitization.
• Restroom cleaning and restocking during the shift.
• Respond promptly to spills or safety concerns.
• Maintain guest-facing spaces during peak activity.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist after events or meetings with cleanup.
