Goldminer's Daughter Lodge in Alta (Utah) is hiring a Winter Seasonal Pantry/Prep Cook for the 2026–27 season (mid-December 2026 through mid-April 2027). Pay starts at $15.25 per hour plus tips, with an average around $19 per hour and roughly 40 hours per week.

The role focuses on salads and desserts, supporting lodge guests and staff in a fast-moving kitchen. Enjoy mountain living with on-site housing options and access to Alta/Snowbird passes and other perks.

Resort Pantry - Prep Cook

Not Your Average Kitchen Job.

Goldminer's Daughter Lodge is hiring a Winter Seasonal Pantry/Prep Cook at the base of Alta Ski Area for the 2026–27 season (mid-December 2026 through mid-April 2027). You will earn $15.25 per hour plus tips (original materials note an average around $19 per hour) and work full-time at about 40 hours per week.

This is a hands-on kitchen role focused on salads and desserts. You will help feed lodge guests and the crew while building real culinary experience in a fast-moving environment. The crew works hard and gets outside. You can make the most of a mountain winter before or after your shift-Alta is right outside the lodge doors.

What You Will Do

What You Bring

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move quickly on your feet.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Kitchen or dish experience is a plus, but energy and a solid work ethic matter most. We will train the right person.
