Job summary

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, seeks a Material Specialist to support our Engineering & Facilities team with purchasing, inventory management, procurement coordination, and materials control to keep the resort operating safely and efficiently.

This full-time onsite role reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities at Oahu, Hawaii, and requires SAP experience, Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, materials control, inventory management, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP or similar purchasing/inventory management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Position includes both office and field work.
• Schedule flexibility required based on business needs.
• Process material and spare parts orders and track them through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities for Engineering & Facilities operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and replenishment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the resort.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.
