Job summary

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, a Disney property on Oahu, Hawaii, seeks a Material Specialist to support Engineering & Facilities. You will manage purchasing, inventory, and material controls to keep the resort operating safely and efficiently.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities and is onsite at Aulani Resort. Requirements include 2+ years in relevant roles and proficiency with SAP or similar systems; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, materials control, inventory management, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP or similar purchasing/inventory management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process material and spare parts orders and track them through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities for Engineering & Facilities operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and replenishment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the resort.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.
