Job summary

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is seeking a Material Specialist to support our Engineering & Facilities team on site at the Aulani Resort on Oahu, Hawaii. You will manage material purchases, inventory control, and procurement coordination to keep the resort operating safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, you will work with SAP and related systems, balance multiple priorities, and ensure reliable material flow to support guest experiences and maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing, materials control, inventory management, or related field.
• Experience using SAP or similar purchasing/inventory management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process material and spare parts orders and track them through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities for Engineering & Facilities operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and replenishment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the resort.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.
