Sun Outdoors in New Braunfels, Texas, is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across resort grounds, facilities, and utility systems while delivering excellent guest service. The role involves lawn care, minor repairs, irrigation checks, pool area upkeep, and on-call availability.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 pounds, and possess basic computer skills and experience with hand tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months in previous maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort (Preferred)
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform maintenance or repair duties using tools (Essential)
• Completes minor repairs to rental units and facilities as needed (Essential)
• Inspects irrigation system regularly and repairs as necessary (Essential)
• Cleans resort amenities and maintains grounds, buildings, and streets to Sun's standards (Essential)
• Reports maintenance issues to the manager and assists with safety compliance as required
