Job summary

IHM Outdoors is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our resort properties. You will ensure facilities remain inviting and safe for guests while performing minor repairs and upkeep.

The role requires flexible scheduling and on-call readiness to support resort operations, including grounds, plumbing, electrical work, and equipment maintenance. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency, including using email and the internet.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to respond during non-business hours while on-call.
• 6 months maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain resort facilities.
• Inspect irrigation system and repair as needed.
• Inspect and repair playgrounds, pool/spa, and other recreational areas.
• Maintain the resort curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Conduct lawn care and landscaping tasks.
• Keep common areas clean and trash-free daily.
• Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures while moving between sites.
