Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee lodging, public areas, meeting spaces, and related facilities. You will manage heating, cooling, electrical, and other utilities, ensuring safe, aesthetically pleasing, and operable spaces in line with environmental commitments.

The role requires supervising maintenance staff, coordinating with contractors, and driving efficiency while maintaining high Forbes/Unifocus service scores.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of hand tools, including power tools.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and related maintenance.
• Troubleshooting electrical problems and repair of commercial cooking equipment.
• Proficient in drywalling, painting, staining, framing and carpentry tasks.
• Knowledge of plumbing and propane distribution troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with boilers and radiant heating systems.
• Reading blueprints and building construction knowledge.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License; licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly building tours to ensure systems and structures function correctly.
• Plan and perform preventative maintenance across lodging, public areas, and facilities.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors and staff; schedule and prioritize work orders.
• Lead maintenance staff and coordinate resources across shifts.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and staff safety training.
