Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee lodging, public areas, meeting spaces, and restaurant facilities. You will manage heating, cooling, electrical and utility systems within environmental guidelines.

Exempt/salaried role reporting to the Director of Facilities. The team delivers high-quality upkeep, meets Forbes standards, and maintains homeowner contracts while managing budgets and staffing.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of hand tools, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building construction.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience and/or 8-10 years total maintenance experience with 3 years supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and electronic mail; knowledge of QuickBooks, SMS, and Guestware helpful.
• Valid U.S. Drivers' License in good standing; General Contractor license preferred; Master Electrical/Plumbing license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly building tours and inspections to ensure systems and structures are in proper order.
• Plan, schedule and perform preventative maintenance for lodging, structures and facilities to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests in Guestware.
• Coordinate and lead maintenance staff; supervise in-house and contracted work to meet standards and budgets.
• Communicate with the Director of Facilities; assist with homeowner contracts and invoicing in QuickBooks.
• Develop and implement training to keep skills current and enforce safety and environmental commitments.
