Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across lodging, public areas, meeting spaces, and restaurant facilities. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, manage a team, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires strategic planning, budgeting, and strong leadership to maintain high service standards and Forbes travel ratings. On-site evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation skills.
• Experience with facility management systems and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and oversee preventive maintenance across lodging, public areas, meeting spaces, and food & beverage facilities.
• Schedule staff, estimate labor, and coordinate contractors for in-house and outsourced work.
• Maintain records, manage work orders and ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
• Lead safety training and enforce OSHA standards; ensure environmental commitments are followed.
