Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort in Utah is seeking a Housekeeping Lead Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping team across cottages, mountain homes, and public areas, ensuring standards of cleanliness meet resort expectations.

This full-time, year-round role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to guest experience, with duties including training, inspections, inventory management, and coordinating with other departments to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers' License in good standing in accordance to Sundance's Insurance Company guidelines.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all employees in assigned sections.
• Train new supervisors and existing supervisors in upholding Sundance's commitment to excellence in cleanliness, guest experience and productivity.
• Preform homeowner inspections before arrival of all homeowners.
• Preform random quality inspections on vacant rooms and stayovers.
• Inspect all checkouts in assigned sections.
• Ensure closets and storage areas are clean and stocked.
• Inspect housepersons' work in assigned areas; ensuring cleanliness is maintained and garbage and linen are picked up every two hours.
• Train housekeepers on efficiencies used to meet cleanliness standards.
• Communicate problems and requests in need of attention to other departments in a timely manner.
