Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking an IT Support Specialist at Stratton Mountain Resort to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware and software across resort infrastructure. You will handle help-desk tickets, document actions, and escalate complex issues to senior staff.

Ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service, work well under pressure, and collaborate with the IT Manager and System Administrator to improve systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• 1+ year IT experience in a resort campus environment or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop OS.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to other Alterra resorts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for end users; document issues and resolutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems; perform hands-on fixes.
• Maintain documentation and inventory reports; update knowledge base articles.
• Assist with server and network equipment administration as directed by IT managers.
