Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Regional IT Director to lead resort technology across the East Region, based at Stratton Mountain or Sugarbush in Vermont. You will align resort operations with enterprise standards, manage a distributed team, and own regional budgets.

You will drive IT strategy, oversee four pillars (IT Operations, Infrastructure, System Administration, Business Applications), guide M&A integration, and ensure security, PCI compliance, DR/BCP readiness, and cost-to-serve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 8+ years IT experience with multi-site leadership.
• Experience in hospitality or resort operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, networking, cloud (Azure/AWS), virtualization, and Microsoft 365; PCI and security frameworks.
• Experience leading M&A integration and enterprise-wide change.

Responsibilities

• Set technology vision and multi-year regional roadmap.
• Lead regional IT teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• Own regional OpEx/CapEx budgets and cost-to-serve improvements.
• Drive security, DR/BCP readiness, and PCI compliance across the region.
