Job summary

Cliff House Maine is seeking an experienced housekeeping supervisor to lead daily operations for guest rooms and public areas. You will delegate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with cleanliness standards across the resort.

Role requires strong communication, leadership, and physical stamina to manage busy shifts and uphold guest satisfaction at a premier Maine resort.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• Previous experience as a resort housekeeping supervisor or manager preferred.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Interpersonal skills enabling supervision and motivation of staff and effective guest interactions.
• Must be able to stand and exert mobility for periods up to four hours; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Establish and delegate daily work assignments for Housekeeping staff to ensure areas are cleaned to standards.
• Assist with training, scheduling, reviewing staff, and monitoring productivity to improve performance.
• Assist with payroll information processing and verification for the department.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints.
• Inspect guest rooms for maintenance needs and cleaning standards.
