Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Holiday Character for Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI. This part-time seasonal role focuses on planning daily activities, welcoming guests, and coordinating on/off-site events to enhance guest experiences.

The role requires high energy, strong communication, and the ability to multitask across a fast-paced resort environment with flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Event planning, catering, or recreation experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities for resort guests.
• Welcome and introduce guests to experiences upon arrival.
• Create, develop, and implement on/off-site events.
• Promote and build excitement for scheduled events.
• Address and resolve guest complaints.
• Personalize experiences through a proactive guest profiling program.
• Schedule activities, update marketing materials, and adjust for changes that may arise.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
