Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa seeks an energetic Events & Activities Attendant to support corporate events, team-building activities, resort recreation programs, and special events across the property.

You will assist with setup, guest engagement, activity facilitation, and breakdown, and you’ll work indoors and outdoors at beaches, marshlands, golf courses, lawns, and meeting spaces. A positive guest-service mindset, strong communication, and microphone presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Excellent guest service and hospitality mindset.
• Able to speak to large groups and use a microphone.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings and late nights.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of corporate events, recreational activities, team-building programs, and special events.
• Engage guests in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
• Provide event support including registration, activity facilitation, guest direction, crowd management, and equipment operation.
• Serve as a host, emcee, or activity facilitator using a microphone for announcements, games, and group engagement.
• Maintain high energy and professionalism while working with groups of varying sizes.
• Transport event supplies, equipment, and materials between venues.
• Drive resort work vehicles to event locations throughout the property.
• Monitor event spaces and ensure all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing event equipment and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with guests, clients, resort leadership, and fellow team members.
• Anticipate guest and event needs and respond proactively.
• Adapt quickly to changing schedules, weather conditions, client requests, and operational needs.
• Follow all resort safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations and guest experiences.
