Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa on Amelia Island is seeking a friendly recreation associate to assist guests at the pool and beach, provide information and directions, and coordinate rentals. You will help with towel service, equipment setup, and guest safety while delivering attentive service in a family-friendly environment.

The role involves processing reservations, maintaining pool area cleanliness, and engaging guests in holiday events and activities.

Qualifications

• Provide guest assistance at pool and beach areas
• Assist with reservations for pool/beach rentals
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around recreation facilities

Responsibilities

• Work on the pool and beach by assisting guests and providing directions
• Make reservations for pool and beach rentals (cabanas, loungers, chairs)
• Process reservations in ResortSuite and related systems
• Ensure towels and supplies are available during service hours
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of pool areas and equipment
• Participate in monthly team meetings and safety procedures
• Open/close recreation facilities and manage equipment setup/breakdown
• Maintain communication with guests and associates
• Promote Omni culture and engage guests in activities
