Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our resort properties in the Florida Keys. The role involves repairs to rental units, facilities, and grounds, plus ensuring guest areas remain clean, safe, and inviting.

The ideal candidate will have basic maintenance skills, experience with tools, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. On-site work with opportunities for growth and on-call support are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience at campground or RV resort preferred.
• General maintenance knowledge including janitorial, plumbing, and grounds.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain resort properties.
• Repair and maintain rental units, facilities and grounds.
• Inspect irrigation, playgrounds, pool, and recreational amenities for safety and function.
• Maintain resort grounds, care for plants, mulch, and weed control.
• Assist with site setups and guest arrivals/departures as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to manager and follow safety procedures.
