Job summary

Boyne Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Manager to support the Assistant Hotel Manager and General Manager in overseeing front desk operations at Big Sky Resort. You will train, schedule, monitor, and motivate staff while ensuring service standards and guest satisfaction.

This role requires leadership, scheduling, effective communication, and a proactive approach to solving guest issues. Compliance with resort policies and collaboration with Bellmen, concierge, and housekeeping is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Big Sky Resort employee in good standing.
• Hotel Front Desk experience required.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous leadership or supervisory role is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and carry out front desk duties including check-ins/outs and guest information.
• Train and coach staff to deliver high guest service levels.
• Use judgement to resolve guest and staff issues, determine when upgrades or refunds are warranted.
• Contribute to weekly Front Desk meetings and staff coordination.
• Work long hours and stand for the duration of shifts.
• Attend weekly operational meetings to align front desk and resort goals.
• Uphold Big Sky Resort and Boyne, USA policies and procedures.
