Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a structured on-site internship program at Scottsdale, AZ, available in 3- or 6-month durations, designed to deliver hands-on experience across resort operations and direct guidance from property leaders.

Interns will rotate through departments, participate in executive sessions, complete a capstone project, and join online sessions; housing is the student’s responsibility, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a college degree.
• Hospitality or Business Management majors preferred, other disciplines encouraged.
• Available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Learn brand-standard welcoming techniques to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Welcome and assist guests and owners during check-in and check-out.
• Assist guests by handling requests and inquiries as a helpful resource.
• Learn to manage daily front desk tasks and participate in problem solving.
• Understand the difference between ownership and nightly reservations.
• Observe and learn the pre-arrival process for guests.
• Familiarize with room locations and assignment procedures.
