Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers an on-site internship program at one of our premier resort locations in the East Region, Hilton Head Island, SC. Programs run for 3 or 6 months, with leadership guidance, executive sessions, and project collaboration.

Interns gain hands-on experience across Food & Beverage operations, shadow other departments, and participate in exclusive interviews with senior leaders. Housing is the student’s responsibility, and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a college degree.
• Variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fully on-site internship at Marriott resort locations.
• Hospitality or Business Management majors preferred, others encouraged to apply.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on role scope.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various Food & Beverage outlets based on property size and offerings.
• Gain experience in front and back of house operations.
• Learn roles such as server, food prep/cook, expeditor, and bar staff.
• Observe inventory control, placing orders and handling alcohol responsibly.
• Partner with Recreation team for themed events, holidays, and property celebrations.
