Job summary

Jay Peak in Jay, VT is hiring a Building Maintenance Tech 1 for on-site, full-time work. The technician will maintain and repair resort buildings and grounds, perform PMs, and assist senior staff with repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications include basic education or minimal related experience; ability to read and write English; valid driver's license may be required. The role includes benefits and a winter resort work environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience: Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language skills: Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, & memos; write simple correspondence; present information to customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform written, verbal, or electronic PM's as directed.
• Assist senior level supervisors or technicians in repairs and replacements as needed.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all building systems.
• Treat our customers and guests with courtesy and respect and provide the highest level of customer service possible.
• Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Keep logs of tasks performed and maintenance calls.
• Perform snow and trash removal.
