Job summary

Jay Peak Resort is seeking an entry-level Hotel Maintenance Laborer to support upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of resort buildings, grounds, and equipment. You will assist Maintenance Technicians with routine tasks and preventative maintenance while delivering courteous guest service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and basic building maintenance knowledge. Vermont-based, with emphasis on winter resort conditions and weekend/holiday hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and document completed work.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs, installations, and maintenance projects.
• Clean maintenance shops, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces; repair and maintain facility areas.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as requested.
• Support other departments with labor-related projects as needed.
