Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering operations of our resort. You will direct the engineering department, oversee capital projects, and manage vendor relationships to ensure facilities are safe and compliant.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and a proven track record in project management and safety training. A BA/BS is required, with professional certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; five years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in supervisory/management roles within a resort or hospitality setting preferred.
• Certifications: HVAC and/or Electrical, Plumbing; CPR/OSP, OSHA, CPO and EPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall engineering operation of the resort and direct the engineering department.
• Manage capital projects and vendor operations while aligning with company standards.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and ethics across all maintenance activities.
